POP-Contrast

When it comes to REAR-PROJECTION, the POP-contrast screen supply the best overall picture by NORMAL circumstances.

Normal circumstances will be:
  • Distance (focal lengh) from projector to screen is minimum 1:1,2
  • The projector shoot in an angle of approx. 90° to the screens surface in both directions
  • The grey tint of the screen enhance the images contrast an supply better colour-saturation than a white screen
  • Mat surface toward the viewer secure no reflections from surroundings disturb the image
  • Mat surface toward the projector secure the "incoming" light from the projector in the screen-corners  will be "soaked" and not reflected. By long projection-distance a mat surface toward the projector is a disadvantage, because the mat surface also "soaks" lights from surroundings.

If circumstances are not normal, DAF Screens A/S as MANUFACTURE, can adjust many of the parametres when casting the screens from liquid acrylic:
  • The tint can be changed
  • The "diffusion-particles" can be changed
  • The quantity of "diffuusion-particles"
  • The size of "diffusion-particles" can be adjusted
  • The surfaces can be changed

Projectors and applications has been changed during years and as a consequence, DAF Screens A/S has made a line of screens for different circumstances. Kind look at our other POP-screens.

The manufacturing up on requst implify extra work and attention, so minimum-quantity is required. If you have an interest for such OEM-products, do not hesitate to contact kim@dafscreens.com
