If uniformaty and widest possible viewing-angles in REAR-PROJECTION is required with a modest quantity of light per m², this can be helped with a different screen than the overall POP-contrast screen. The POP3-white is a cost-effective solution to help a cost-effective projector giving a bright result at all viewing-angles.
To adjust for such circumstances DAF Screens is producing and stocking this special screen:

To achieve highest possible transmission. The absense of tint increase the degree of spreading the light, but the absence of tint reduce the contrast in the image

Reduced contrast in the screen is less of a problem with many new projectors having a high contrast-ratio

The quantity of "diffusion-particles" has been increased to scatter the viewing-angles, giving light to spectators in a broader viewing-cone

The screen exist only with 2 mat surfaces and only in thickness 3mm
