You can project an image from a videoprojector on any white wall, but the result will often be poor, because surface-structure is not optimal for the reflection. To improve the image, the most obvious initiative will be to improve the projecting-surface. The wall has to be perfectly flat without any unevenness. A FRONT-POP-screen always has perfect flatness and the right balance between gloss and matt to secure good reflection, but at the same time AntiReflectivity to avoid any hot-spot and supply true 180° viewing-angle, second to any other surface.
When ever space allow you to project from rear, you will obtain a better result than projecting on a front-screen. This is naturally because the light goes directly from the projector into the spectators eyes. By front-projection, the light has to be reflected (with loss of light)
DAF Screens A/S has been manufacturing REAR-Projectionscreens since 1986 and rigid front-screens in some years. Videoprojectors has improved significant since then and so has projectingscreens accordingly. Screens from DAF contain a lot of innovation, cast into the screens it produce today - for the benefit of the audience to your presentations.
